What is Resveratrol? Resveratrol is a compound produced by many plant species and is thought to be helpful in reducing serum lipids and may have favorable cardiovascular implications. Resveratrol’s antioxidant properties may again be the mechanism at work in reducing the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Currently scientists are exploring additional potential health benefits of resveratrol.
